Exercise Log

The Department of Health states that everyone should complete at least 30 minutes of moderate physical exercise at least 5 times a week. The exercise does not all have to be in one burst, for example you could complete 3 shorter bouts of 10 minutes exercise in a day to amount to your 30 minutes exercise for the day.

Research shows that there are many health benefits to being physically active, these include having a lower risk of coronary heart disease, stoke type 2 diabetes and types of cancer.

The benefits of physical activity can be gained from activities that can be incorporated into everyday life, such as brisk walking, using the stairs or cycling.
